“As one of the ‘1 in 4’ people who have experienced a mental health issue at some point in their lives, mental health and it’s ramifications have been a part of my life for many years.  During this time, I have become a strong advocate for educating and informing people about the realities of mental illness.  I am passionate about challenging the many stereotypes and the stigma associated with mental health and am keen to see many more people trained and equipped to offer first assistance to those suffering a mental health crisis.

I have been involved in the delivery of training and conferences throughout Wales for over 10 years and bring a wide experience of public speaking and facilitation.  As a committed Christian I have particular understanding of faith and mental health issues and as a Sports Chaplain I also bring experience from the sporting sector. I have extensive pastoral experience and, as such, I will bring an empathetic and understanding style to your MHFA training, together with personal testimony which will both aid and enhance your learning.

The Mental Health First Aid Course is an excellent training tool and I am excited to be able to offer it across Wales.”
